Terms for learning with GOLMOK.

Who may use the service

You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a higher age to agree to online services, you must meet that age or use the service with authorization from a parent or guardian. You may use the public beta for personal language learning.

YouTube videos and source content

Videos remain on YouTube and play through YouTube's embedded player under YouTube's Terms and Google's Privacy Policy. GOLMOK does not host or sell the videos and is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, featured channels, broadcasters, artists, or performers unless a partnership is explicitly identified.

Video availability, advertising, region restrictions, age restrictions, captions, and playback are controlled by YouTube, uploaders, and rights holders. Do not obscure, bypass, or interfere with YouTube player controls, attribution, restrictions, or advertising.

Free playback and future paid plans

GOLMOK does not charge for access to or playback of an embedded YouTube video. Public source videos, the original YouTube link, standard playback controls, sentence selection, basic LineLoop repetition, Korean lesson text, and the selected basic translation remain available without purchasing a GOLMOK plan.

If paid plans are introduced, payment will cover independent GOLMOK services such as personalized study paths, original explanations and exercises, pronunciation feedback, advanced review, account synchronization, or optional AI processing. A paid plan will not remove YouTube advertising, override YouTube restrictions, or sell or unlock a YouTube video.

Lesson text and learning material

GOLMOK may present short transcript excerpts, translations, timing boundaries, and learning notes so a learner can understand and repeat a specific moment. Rights in the source video, performance, dialogue, captions, names, and likenesses remain with their respective owners. Rights in GOLMOK software, branding, interface, and original learning notes belong to Mohrs Korea Inc. or its licensors.

When you paste a video link or request analysis, we process the submitted information only to return that request. Pasting a link does not add the video, lesson text, or generated analysis to GOLMOK's public catalog and does not grant GOLMOK permission to publish or redistribute it. Do not submit private, illegally obtained, or infringing material.

Rights holders and creators can use the content and rights request page. Removing a GOLMOK lesson does not remove the source video from YouTube.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, harass others, introduce malicious code, scrape or call APIs at unauthorized volume, evade access controls, impersonate another person, or interfere with service operation. We may limit or suspend access reasonably needed to protect users, rights holders, the service, or third-party platforms.

Learning accuracy

Reviewed lessons are aligned to available source captions and audio, but captions, translations, speaker labels, timing, notes, and optional AI explanations can still contain errors. Check the original source and use judgment before relying on a phrase in a sensitive, professional, medical, legal, or other high-stakes setting.

Accounts and data

You may study as a guest. If account sync is enabled and you create an account, profile choices can sync while study cards and voice takes remain on your device. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping your sign-in provider secure. Use Settings or the account deletion page to delete an account. Beta availability and changes

The beta may change, lose content, pause, or end. Features may be incomplete or disabled, and third-party platform changes can interrupt playback or sign-in. We will try to keep the service useful and communicate material changes, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mohrs Korea Inc. disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by unavailable third-party content, inaccurate learning material, or misuse of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Changes to these terms

The effective date will change when these terms change. Material changes may require a new in-app acknowledgement. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service and delete any account and local data.
